Satisfaction vs frustration

Yeah the beserker has it moments but mainly off than on. When the planets align it really is a great tank! Funny you should mention the kayfun as i’m Currently looking st the SXK clone lol, not as gear acquisition syndrome but really just to get a good flavour mtl that’s actually useable consistently. It’s got to be easier than the beserker! I actually rewicked it after my post and it has resulted in a further 2 rewicks as it wasn’t right flavour wise I think a good analogy with the beserker is trying to throw a basket ball backward overhead into a hoop. When you get it in you’re buzzing but the reality is I find myself running back and forward to gather a missed bouncing ball

Aye @junglist is right I think, it’s really
about finding a tank that you get on with. I’ve not fancied a berserker for numerous reasons, but then a lot of people say it’s great. I’ve been through probably 10 or so yanks over the past year and have had good luck with most of them, some of them have come and gone and at this point I have about 6 here, 2 or maybe 3 in constant use and some others gathering dust which I’m about to list in the classifieds.

A kayfun prime could be a good one to go for, it was a cheap k5 clone that really got me started on the rta’s and although it’s moved on now because my preference has changed and I like tighter airflow than it could provide, it was very good and very easy to build and wick. I imagine the prime would probably be similar.

I can relate to your journey, I started rebuilding few months ago, I now have about 6 rta 2 rdta and 4 stock coil tanks. For flavour the best tank I own is the goblin mini V3 nothing else comes near for flavour, but it's a fking pain to wick correctly but great when it's done right, easiest tank to wick for me anyway is the billow V3 but average on flavour but it's a good compromise imo. My fav tank is the limitless rdta good flavour pretty easy to wick and I can wind up the wife with the ridiculous clouds it produces. So my journey is ongoing and no doubt I will be buying more tanks new and off the classifieds. I feel like I am way behind most of the guys here, using old tanks etc but I am enjoying it so far. Good luck to you and keep at it, practice makes perfect so they say.
FFS my tanks leaking.

Sounds like your at a similiar stage to me @Nick0steam just with different hardware choices! Persistence beats resistance.

Hello @Wicking Wonderer , Nice to meet you mate !!!

Welcome dude - MTL is where I started and have recently started direct to lung as well.

As has been said practice makes perfect - My daily MTL RTA is a siren 2 and I bascically learnt how to coil and wick on this thing from scratch took a bit of getting used to but now I can do it with my eyes closed (I used to dread needing to make a new coil now I actually enjoy it)

Am now into the world of drippers and dual coil tanks as well :D
