I am feeling really shite at the moment, and took the first day off of work sick in over 3 years, so if I still feel this bad, then unfortunately, I will be travelling no further than to my bed

Not the side of Sheffield I know, but last train is 23:30 ish so it is a possibility.

JustDave, there aren't any tram stops that way out. Plenty of buses!

The tram is a 5 to 10 minute walk but as Luke says there are plenty of direct buses and the train station is across the road from the bus station.

I will try and find which buses run up that way for you

You need the number 52 JustDave - they run relatively direct and very regular.

There are plenty of others by the looks of it but the 52 having a short journey time and running what looks to be a decent timetable to allow you plenty of time in the pub and a bit of le-way to get to your platform afterwards. If I drove I would offer people lifts from the station but I only have the bike and that has been taken off the road for winter as 180bhp in the cold and frost is no fun at all I am likely to be getting a bus or taxi myself.
