What's new

Shinyitus has got me wanting

It's only annoying me since I accidently lost the blinking o ring in the sink so my decent attempt ended by me mopping up juice every time I picked it up. It's even stained my Argus grrr. The big issue I have is the struggle getting the deck away from the chamber. It seems to lock and no getting it off without sticking an allen key in the air hole. Hopefully it'll be 3rd time lucky. I'm managing to build and wick ok, just the getting anxious if it will undo without a wrestling match. Now I've found the o ring it should be fine lol

With the Kensei it is best not to screw down the chamber as far as it will go, not screwing it down completely may will leave a small visible gap between the chamber and air inlet but don't worry about this as it will not cause leakage. When you close the juice ports prior to filling turn the tank to the right NOT the left as this will make it too firmly attached to the build deck section. I had similar problems at first but just tried opening and closing the juice ports and airflow when it was off the mod until I became familiar with it, since then I've had no problems.

Thanks, maybe I've been screwing it too far when putting everything together. Didn't help losing the o ring from the first time rinsing it all when stuck lol

Hopefully I've sorted the annoying issue of separating the chimney from the deck. I replaced the thin black o ring on the deck for a thicker 1. There seems to be a prominent gap now above the air flow ring but no leaking. Only thing that was making me anxious about using it. Needed to make it work as it'll look amazing on my gold SMOK G-Priv 2 when I collect it from my daughter's tomorrow

Don't worry about the gap between the airflow ring and the tank section - the o-rings that seal the juice in are between the top and bottom sections of the glass. I'm vaping mine as I type this and it is currently showing almost a 1mm gap but this is has never caused a leaking issue. Just remember to shut off the juice control before filling (turn to the right not the left to close) and you should be good.

Just in case you haven't noticed - if you have problems separating the sections of the tank there is a flat metal tool with 2 tines included in the kit (remove the top cap, the tines slot into the fill ports - hold the bottom of the tank firmly and twist the tool anti-clockwise (leftie loosie, rightiie tightie) which makes separating it a doddle).

When you refit the tank to the deck don't crank it all the way down or it can easily stick - a 1mm visible gap is normal.

If you can see the difference between both, originally no gap so it was locking and so hard to separate. The tool to undo juice bit yes I use and don't tighten up too much. There must have been an issue with a too thin o ring fitted when I got it. Thank you

Ooh I like this. Might be old but it looks ok and works well. A bit like me... Ok maybe not lol
