What's new

Shinyitus has got me wanting

I only vape at about 40 watts with the Artemis, it was the reason I ordered the squonker since it's compatible though

I vape at 35w on the Profile, It's not all down to what Wattage you vape at, it's the amount of power it takes to heat up the coils.

Ooh how is the menu? Most reviewers say it's awfull to use. Can't just adjust wattage without going round the house?

the menu on Cov mods is a bit quirky. The 2 COV mods I've had have 5 wattage presets, if you press up or down it just takes you to the next preset. I just set them 20, 25, 30, 40, 50. The presets can be adjusted easily - it is a little odd at first but you soon get used to it. It is a bit Yihi-esque, but nowhere near as complicated.

The only thing I found annoying was you had to turn off by going into the menu - but 3 clicks locks and unlocks. I would lock it when I pocket carried and take out the battery instead of going into the menu because it was quicker lol.

Don't worry - it really is simple, just different but you soon get used to it.

A bit scared now lol

I've just looked at my Cov Trident again -

To turn off - 5 clicks, then you get a screen saying OFF - Yes No. Select Yes. Then you get an OFF symbol and you have to click again to turn it off. Its easy - but I find it easier to just turn it off lby pulling the battery out..

I love the Yihi menu's, it's mainly the Advanced User Menu's that are difficult to navigate but still worth going through and having a play, the switch between Normal or easy and advanced is a good idea. Not a fan of the Fire Button controlling everything either so don't have a great deal of mods that do that.

I love my Wraith, I had a Black one and sold it on which I regretted ever since, saw the White for 12 quid so I had to nab one as I'm a sucker for White mods.

The RDA is a bit pants, plain wire at higher ohms works best (aim for 0.3 - 0.5ohms) but finding an alternative White RDA is near impossible.

The menu is quirky but once you suss it then it's pretty quick and memory pre-sets are handy.

Ideally a single coil 22mm RDA works best on it and fancy-pancy coils work well (Drop Solo was the one I used mostly).
