I was surprised by another thread, how many people said they mixed their own. And sickened by them boasting how much money they saved. Bastards!

I have my all day vape now. It is a cheap aniseed that I get for £1 per bottle. (Seriously, I like it more than many premium juices).
So my habit tends to be to vape aniseed all day, then sit down in the evening and switch between premium juices... most of which are also Aniseed, licorice, absinthe, BlackJacks.

So I have the idea, that if I could mix my all day vape, in theory I can save money, but also save the aggravation of having to keep reordering little bottles.

I am really not interesting in cooking up my own brews, and experimenting with different flavours. I just want to buy the gear, mix one flavour in a big jug, put it in a big bottle and forget about it for a month.

So what is the bottom line? How much would this cost me to buy all the kit, and what sort of money does the juice work out at after the initial outlay of measuring jugs etc?

And keeping in mind that I have tried quite a few licorice/aniseed juices from many manufactures and most have been duff, what are the chances of me being able to mix a good strong flavour I like?

Thanks for your advice.

Hello Vicky
Why not give a go. You could look at a simple starter kit like this one:

https://www.chefsvapour.co.uk/diy-supplies/719-mixing-kits-with-chefsvapour-concentrates.html

And then add in a couple of extra concentrates like this:

https://www.chefsvapour.co.uk/inawera-concentrates/935-aniseed.html?search_query=Aniseed&results=8

It's all going to be a trial and error basis for what suits your taste buds but when you nail it it's comforting to know that you can produce it when ever you want. Also you can play around with different flavours as the ones you have mentioned above. The worlds your lobster
Any other questions just ask and someone will no doubt have an answer.

Yes you should role your own.
From my memory of a previous post I think about 50p per 10 ml was a common answer.
You can keep it simple and cheap and with a little experimenting I am sure you can improve on your current adv.

You'll need Nicotine
£8.49 from VapeInc using discount code POTV15

Cheapest you'll find it I believe

Before I started mixing I vaped a standard baccy from local shop.It was ok.
My first mix was just a golden virginia it was better.
Next I added a little cuban cigar, even better.
Then someone sent me a free sample of a tropical juice (space pirate).I found it far too strong but I liked a few drops in my home brew.
To cut a not very long story even shorter I now have a baccy mix made of 4 flavours and a fruity baccy mix with 6 and in my view both are better than anything else I have tried.
I did not do a lot of experimenting.I mix 2 or three 100 ml bottles a few weeks before I need them.Improvements come by thinking,That is nice but perhaps it would be improved with a little x,y or z.Then you can mix up your main mix and do a small experiment on a small part of it.

Get some concentrate black jack from vampire vape, and / or decadent vapours absinthe, both of those should be pretty safe bets :)

Key points:

1) It's not rocket surgery

b) You can tailor the taste and strength to your preference

iii) Comparable quality to the 'premium' stuff for the price of the cheap stuff

4) Once you get a starter kit it'll be easy to buy some more concentrates if you feel the desire to experiment

e) There's a real satisfaction to vaping your own juice and thinking 'wow, I done that!' ;)

Aye, do it!!

Started mixing my own on friday and it is very satisfying watching the bottles mature.

Wanted to try a couple of tobaccos and custards. Then I found the Gingerbread concentrate that smells as good as Mrs Lords.

Worth getting a starter kit and to give it a bash, what do you have to lose?

As Goneloopy said, get some DV Absinthe.. Also some Aniseed, licorice, pg, vg, couple of syringes, and nic.. For a little over £20 you'll be off with a good start.

Or you could buy a ready to go starter kit and add some concentrates.
