Ok, so there was me thinking "Christ, I'm filling this thing 3-4 times a day, is this just new tank syndrome???"

Yeah, I'm only getting ~1ml in on each fill

Sorry to doubt you, but are you sure you're filling the whole tank and there's not a juice lock due to the wick tails? It's a small tank, but it should take more than that! It looks like one side of the tank is empty in that pic?

The cotton did an excellent job of swelling right up...

And it's pretty even in that pic - the juice sits on the glass next to the wick and makes it look like one side is full from certain angles.

When I fill it, I tip it on it's side so that the breather is at the top - that way it avoids the juice lock issue we discussed completely. Then I slowly straighten it up during filling. 99+% sure there's pretty much zero air left in when full.

I'm utterly paranoid about dry hits nowadays too, so I don't let it suck the wick tails dry...

So, add up the usual overestimate of capacity and fat wet wick tails and yeah, 1ml or thereabouts.

Next time I wick it I'll measure the capacity with a bare tank.

Very dvarw 16. Have reservations about the way the undercoil airflow adapters fit, but I'm prepared to be proved wrong.

Looks bang tidy though.

From empty, no wick, filled to the brim (like juice level with the top of the wick ports - level with the deck).

Doesn't bother me at all to be honest, the capacity is kind of irrelevant - at least it is now I don't think I'm pouring 6+ml per day into it

Looks bang tidy though.

So far the merlin is a flavour machine and it looks cracking on the coral but the deck is both fiddly and vague. You get three airflow adapters, not the advertised two (1mm, 1.2mm & 2mm which is two airflow holes) but they are press fit and don't click home solidly.
The question is, does the flavour make up for the faff

Along these lines - has anybody else measured the capacity of various devices or is it just me?

What dimensions do the manufacturers use?

My ex for example, quotes a 4ml bottle capacity - I can actually fit just over 2ml into it without the tube pushing a load out. Does the 4ml actually mean the capacity of the device including the rda wells and cotton?

Just a little not important thing that occasionally bugs me a bit...
