It is indeed. Mine has a small problem with the insert. The allen key screw doesn’t thread into the deck very well to hold it on. I’m going to drill out the countersink bit a little deeper, which should fix it.

I am also planning to try wicking it with mesh.

I have tried mesh in mine. It worked OK, and vaped nicely ....... but if I'm honest I think it generates a bit too much heat for the plastic chimney liner and probably the deck insert so I took it back out and went back to cotton. I notice the V2 of the original now comes with an SS chimney liner as an option. I'm guessing that's why?

Rda, only ever had one rta and just couldn't get on with it.

Then you're probably setting yourself up for a disappointment if you start MTL with an RTA? There are fewer MTL RDAs around than RTAs .... but there are a few. I use the Strike 18 and the Berserker MTL RDA but I do like a tight MTL draw - I'm sure others will chip in.

Rda, only ever had one rta and just couldn't get on with it.

It is hard to advise really... I like both although I prefer the intensity of flavour I get off mtl RTAs, like the Beserker mini. The Beserker RDA on a simple squonk is a nice option and easier to get right, it is hard to explain for me the flavour is reproduced well just differently to an RTA.

Since you mention the Strike 18 ... how do you tighten the posts down? At first I didn't realise they moved so struggled to get the coil near the airflow.. Now I realise they move I can't now stop them moving and it is a real pain to try to coil on with the posts moving around. I have tried sticking all my different sized Allen keys in the squonk hole, but none of them turn and tighten the post.
