Then you're probably setting yourself up for a disappointment if you start MTL with an RTA? There are fewer MTL RDAs around than RTAs .... but there are a few. I use the Strike 18 and the Berserker MTL RDA but I do like a tight MTL draw - I'm sure others will chip in.

What are you using the Strike 18 on @Crewella ?
Or are you squonking with it?

Some RTAs are harder work than others. For mtl the SXK doggystyled is as easy as it gets, you can’t really go wrong with it and it works quite well. Could be a good one for getting into it.

I think the cheap one I got is duff.. the 510 pin in the promotional pictures is hex shaped, on mine it is a perfectly smooth cylinder. There is no adjusting possible on mine and the posts are now moving freely making it almost impossible to coil and possibly dangerous too.

I will mark it down to experience, and stick with a branded clone in future.

How about the Vapefly Galaxies RDTA. It can be used as standard as a 2ml tank, but also comes with a squonk pin. Have been hearing good things about it.

Yep - I have loads of the Doggy and they're as simple and reliable as it gets but also great flavour and they're not quite as tight a draw if you don't like that. It's the one I always take out in my pocket as it never, ever leaked on me. The only niggle I have is that it's bottom-fill and it can be hard to screw the base off sometimes (easier if you shove something in the airflow slot for leverage).

@Flower Power I think Zou has it covered - mine is also a hex screw.

@bellyman squonking only - I had my strike on a Squeeze originally, it now occasionally gets used on a Wraith ...... but I'm still not really convinced by squonking ......

Is it possible to grip it with a small pair of pliers and tighten it? Or try and wedge them inside? Mine was the $8 one fro. FT and had the allen screw.
