So a lot you may or may not remember my incident with my Siam Mods Carto Punch, I bought it when I got some tanks and was excited to be bopping holes in my cartos, but I got a faulty screw..so it got smooshed after the 3rd bop was done, Daz from safercigs.co.uk sent me a replacement screw and it worked a treat
I use it to bop all my cartos (even though I have a dremel now, I still use the punch because it's just not girly of me to use the dremel and I hate safety glasses.)
Well don't ya know, when ya buy one thing, something new comes out and that was the Siam Mods V2 Carto Punch which includes an extra hardened pointed screw and an anti deform sleeve. The anti deform sleeve is to prevent your carto's from bowing out when you punch and making a small section too big to fit in the tank caps.
With the V2 Carto Punch, I don't have to put an aluminium drip tip in the other end of the carto during a punch (all though most times I still do out of habit) Here is a video which shows you the punch and explains how to use it. A Must watch if you are looking into upgrading to tanks and cartos. I'll put links at the bottom, but I bought these from Safer Cigs, you can also get them at Alba Vapours, prices are pretty much the same, and as you should all know both Vendors are 2 of the best in the business.
Now the SAME thing happened with the Tank Filler(Filla) We all know how excited we were for this little thing which makes filling tanks a breeze. Some of the thicker juices how ever would create an airlock and by god it was a pain in the ass to fiddle with it to break that airlock. The new tank filler has a steeper angle which prevents this. Since I use heavier VG juices, the new design makes it so I don't have to roll my eyes and sigh in frustration while I fiddle away. If you have a tank, this is a must have. Disclaimer: Regardless if I bought or received free anything that I review, I am going to be honest and tell you MY opinion on the item. I might refer to other peoples video's to help me get my point across or you may be disappointed with a one line "this is shit" review.
And Another thing, I WROTE this on UKV prior to shut down. I was able to save this and Phil A, a mod on UKV helped me save 2 other of my reviews.
