How the devil are we?

One has had a couple of issues with a leaking evod and was looking on the mighty tinternet to purchase some wick.
In doing so, one read that silica may well be pretty harmful to the lungs. If this is true, are there any alternatives that are readily available and do as good a job?

I have seen some demos of people using cotton wicks but not known any real alternative for silica wick. I simply moved on from silica wick because I wanted a better quality vape and flavour using stainless steel mesh in rebuildables. You should know that mesh wicking and coiling is not for the beginner though, you do have to put time into it and practice makes perfect, once you find a method that suits you the results are very noticeable whils my wife on silica exhales a cloud I then show her the thunderstorm my genesis can create.
