I don't use mine like that but have the extension tube for 18650 which I think is far more versatile. If you are always going to run yours like that I suppose you won't need to run in 18500 mode.

Hi doing a bit of research and came across this thread. Really interested in getting the daniv2+ just debating between the 18500 or the 18650. If you don't mind me asking what set up do you use on the 18500 and how long does 1 battery last you?

My personal view is get the 18500 with the extension for 18650 (although I've only ever used mine in 18500 mode despite having the extension). That way you have the choice.

I MTL, use Stealthvape Nife30 in a Calix Nano V2, around 0.26-0.30 ohms at 390 -400f and a single 18500, 1100 cell will last me all day if I either rotate with another mod when going out or don't hammer it due to too much shandy!

Ah cool thanks for the opinion and advice. I was leaning towards the 18500 (partially because the 18650 is out of stock) just wasn't sure if it would suit my style of vaping. But that is more battery life than i thought and I don't mind carrying spares.

My vote goes to the iStick Pico. 75 watts, VW/Bypass/TC-Ni/TC-Ti/TC-SS/TCR Mode and upgradable firmware. I have a VTC Mini and an IPV D2, but the Pico is way smaller and - -so far - absolutely reliable.

So I took the plunge and ordered the Dani v2+
I'm only just getting into building coils more out of convenience than anything. So any recommendations for sub-ohm tanks that would well with the Dani?
Any reason the cleito wouldn't work with the 0.4ohm coil?
Also looking at the Atlantis v2, and havoc tank any recommendations welcome. I love the look of the SQuape but after shelling out for the Dani that will have to wait and also as I say something with stock built coils for now
