Smell and taste-Covid

Interested to hear about the loss of taste and smell coming out as a possible indicator. About a week ago I lost both smell and taste which I thought strange as I had no nasal congestion. I didn't self isolate as I didnt have the 'qualifying symptoms' Apparently the Koreans said the loss of taste and smell was a key indicator weeks ago with over 30% of their positive tests displaying the symptom. I would hate to think I have been going around infecting people because this was not made known. Any thoughts?

No, no cough or anything just a sudden loss of taste and smell, very strange!!

I have had some muted tasting juices in the past but at the moment everything just tastes of nothing! Not even that rank taste you get when you have congestion when all butnged up with cold, it like the taste thingy connected to my brain has been disconnected, hope it doesn't last too long!
