Smell and taste-Covid

COVID tears. A delightful blend of strawberries, custard and pangolin.
Yeah, never trusted them pesky pangolins, I just hope if anyone is sponsoring one in a zoo anywhere they see the error of their ways and cancel their direct debits, and all them bats can do one as well...

It comes to something when you can't sit down to a plate full of your favourite rodent without contracting a potentially fatal virus...

I had to self isolate because I developed a cough , no idea if I have had covid or not but I had a weird metallic taste in my mouth like I was sucking on a old coin.

It's weird In my case, the only sense I get, and even that's quite faint, is if something is sweet or savoury, and that's more a sensation than a taste, sounds mental I know, I've certainly never experienced anything like it!

Think that's bits of blood you can taste. Don't panic, it's normal when you have a cough!

I've asked my foster sister, she has the dry cough and rising temp, now self isolating, wants a test, but cant get it.

The fucking media (and I include the BBC) will pounce on anything Covid related if they think there's a story in it.
