smelly nic base

hi all, hope your having a good bank holiday

I am new to mixing and have found there is a strong chemically taste in my mixes which over the last day have narrowed down to the nic base by process of illimination
just smelt the bottle of base and yep it stinks , very chemically same as what I taste and smell when vaping
the base is clear with no colour to it if that makes any difference also it pg base
is there a way to rid the taste and smell like letting it breath, daily shaking or leaving before using for some time
any help would be great as cant be using the base like this

If it smells peppery the nic is old and off but if this was the case you would expect the base to be a darker colour.
Where did you buy it.
Reputable vendor?

I got it from everything liquid which I have seen quite a few others use without any mention of chemical tatse and smell

If the nic base stinks that is not good.
My pg based base has very little smell and vg does not smell strong so it does seem to me you have got bad nic base.

If you look through old posts you will find other trusted suppliers but this company I always use.
They ran out of nic a short time ago so you can be sure it is fresh.
