Rolls!!!

I generally call bread rolls, 'rolls' but there are times ...... like when discussing a sausage roll, when I would say 'sausage bap' because a sausage roll is something totally different. I also call burger buns 'buns' too. There's no rules, it's about making communication easy to understand.

Buns are usually sweetened. Baps/rolls aren't.

Jam bun.
Cheese roll.

Cheese bun or a jam roll is just wrong.

Yeah, burgers tend to come in sweetened buns for some reason. They taste wrong in a roll/bap.
