What's new

Smoant Pasito

So if I hear that a woman’s gone berserk smashing up potatoes at the other end of town tomorrow, that’ll be you @Coolie27 ? :D

Aye- That will be me! Lester’s Farm Shop, incident, local woman asking for New Pasito’s... Goes mad inserting ecigs into a sack of Potatoes. [emoji23]

Those things in the picture are pies. They’re not buns by any stretch of the imagination. Is that an isle of wight thing? Calling a twisted pie a bun?

Pies? lol... no mate they are just like a Chelsea bun, but with cheese and ham rather than cinnamon and raisins.

Chelsea Buns... defo not pies.

Ah I thought it was pastry @Simon G , in your first picture. Then those are just buns that some weird person has put savoury ingredients in.

I decided to have a go at customising my potato a little with some vinyl film/car wrap samples off ebay.
I'm not convinced it looks better, but it definitely looks different!

I'd suggest not messing about with this unless you're patient!
This is probably my third attempt at getting a half decent fit on the film. It's not perfect, but it'll do for now

On the original panel stickers, there's a thickish clear layer of plastic (a bit like helicopter tape) over the actual graphic film which is foil backed. This foil backed bit is why the LEDs don't shine very brightly, which bugged me no end.

I thought the thick clear layer was the protective film people had mentioned, but peeling it back to investigate buggered the graphics, so I just ripped it all off and started again.
Luckily the thick, clear layer forms quite a good template to draw round on the new vinyl, then just cut out carefully with a sharp craft knife and a ruler. The rounded corners are a bit of a bitch to get right by hand.

The LEDs are SUPER bright without the stock film on, so I ended up using 2 layers of red frosted headlight tint film to get the red colour, then a final layer of black frosted headlight tint over the red layers.

The red display is the part I'm most happy with TBH, reminds me of those early calculators my dad had in the 80s!
The green chameleon (green to purple) carbon fibre effect vinyl is a bit uninspiring I suppose, but it's cheap enough to replace and try again. If I can ever be bothered lol

it looks better, but what you really need is a potato skin wrap

Well my Potato is back in my naughty book! - MTL coil lasted all of 2 days of non exclusive use, lowest power setting, 6ml of nic salt 50/50 10mg juice and it's now dry hitting already.

About to try a 2nd coil and see if this one last longer.

The only thing that's going to save it from a slating review is the RBA.

So far the Artery Pal II pisses all over the Potato stock coil wise.

See.^^^This is why I step back from the hype nowadays.
So basically, it's wank and only a teensy tiny rba can save it!
