Should i just bin the mod and half the tank thats stuck onto it ?

If you like the tank and want it, I would try anything and everything to save it, if mod is going great to be binned, doesn't matter what damage you do to try and get to the underside of the 510, just be careful not to damage the tank

The 510 is fixed like a press stud if i remember right so wriggle the tank enough and it will come away with the 510 attached.
If you have already given up on the Alien then take the two screws out you can access and bend the top section up untill you can access the 510 from inside.

I'll try wriggling it about, but i have the feeling even if i do manage to detach it, the TFV12 will be f*cked

At the moment you can't use either or separate them, trying.to get the 510 out from the mod could save your tank. If you do separate it you can grip it with pliers to.unscrew.your tank

I managed to pull it off, but i think part of the mod is now attached to the tank lol

You should be able to get two pairs of pliers now and twist them apart then pop that back in the top or the mod

Don't have pliers atm but can get some soon, is the Mod finished now ?
