Smok m80 plus whining

Hi I bought a smok m80 plus, I've noticed that when I press the fire button I get a high pitched whine, that's whether I'm firing or going through the menu turning on whatever.
I've checked the version and it's 7
Just wondered if anyone has any similar experiences, other than that it's a joy ! Just moved on to that and a nautilus world away from my kanga evod ( which I like by the way) but different gear.
No doubt will move on again as experience grows but content for now.

It's actually fairly normal for that device, it's something to do with the way the circuitry is designed - unless it's really loud just ignore it...

Short answer, some do, some don't. My 2 don't, but I know a couple of apes M80s do.

I thought that the version 7 firmware whines but 7.1 fixes it. You could try upgrading it

I've got 7.1 and it whines. I just ignore it [emoji4]

Thanks guys, will take ur advice and upgrade firmware and if no change ignore, it's not massively loud just a bit mosquito like

Mine shipped with that version and I've never noticed any unusual noises! Hope that helps
