Me RSST arrived this morning – checked it thoroughly for any swarf and other debris, quick wash and wipe of the DT.
Almost as easy to set up as a post style Genesis – and built a ‘safe’ coil of 1.5ish Ohms

The RSST has a huge wick hole, which allows for a nice thick straw wick (500 mesh) and happened to be pretty much the length of my syringe needle. The fill hoe is also big enough to allow one of my old Liqua juice bottles ‘nipples’ – so really easy to fill.

The tank holds about 4ml, and the frosted finish looks good – I don’t use any of the juices on the ‘cracking’ lists so I’m not worried about that – and feels fairly thick. . As the tank is plastic and so the wick would not be connecting with any metal – I also tried only oxidising the top of the wick – apparently non-oxidised SS wicks better.

The supplied SS Ming DT is certainly substantial and as one reviewer pointed out, adds some**- much needed weight to the RSST – it makes it feel more substantial overall. Actually quite liking using it TBH.

I do have a preference for a long, slower draw, so I quite like the smallish airhole. I might make it an ickle larger – but not see the need at the mo.

Because I can adjust the centre post with a coil in place, I can actually get the RSST to rest flush on a mod – and with it’s matt finish - looks Awesome on the Dingo in either normal 18350 or 18650 mode!

So 1st Impressions - Very Good ;)

Photo taken before adjusting the centre post - now absolutely flush - but very blurry photo ;)

Mmmm I still would like the cobra, but I have to say seeing and reading you first review makes me think ok I gotta give this one a try. My only concern is the plastic tank but hey you cant expect diamonds for the price, yep I think this one might be worth giving a go. Thank you for the review and convincing me a little the other way, I will be ordering one of these when my bank says yes.

Grattitude

Simon

thanks for a Great Review Mr Digi its looking good for the Money plus if you get Problems with the tank a AC9 one should fit

TBH wouldn't be surprised if Pyrex tanks aren't available very soon ;)

Not sure if the unoxidised mesh is making any difference - but tis certainly kicking out the Vape - and having no problems keeping up ;)

I was looking to buy an AC9 but might try this instead now, thank you for a great little review Digicig

Getting the VH Verti inspired me to get a Line V2 - which is definitely a better Vape :)

So i can see the RSST making folk want to try the AC9 - if nowt else to see if/how much better it actually is ;)

OK - the airhole maybe just an ickle small for me Late-night Vaping preference - so tomorrow i may dig out the Dremel - one of the reviewers did suggest a corkscrew might do the job - but a Dremel should be tidier ;)

in the words of the great Tim Allen More Power & my mantra "always choose a power tool over a hand tool" ;) Take that how you will :D
