Smoke detector

Shower caps, just take them off before bed time. Don't seal them with duct tape as, if there is a fire, it wont do it's job. O go old school & open a window :D

I sorted it out,you can buy dust covers from a builders merchant, similar to a shower cap but made for smoke detectors, easy to put on and take off

my smoke alarm pi55es me off. It goes off if I vape anything higher than 70% VG. Next time the firemen come round I'm gonna tell them I want one that doesn't go off because the air smells different.

You could try blowing your clouds toward or out the window. You want those smoke detectors to be doing their job when it matters, else you might not be around to talk about it if an actual fire occurs, possibly whilst you're sleeping.

Some inconvenience(i set mine off more than i'd like also) and living in the event of a fire, it's a no-brainer.

Very good advice,I just use the cover when I'm vaping,I take it off at night plus I have a detector in the other rooms except for the kitchen.
So everyone who reads this thread please understand I don't say do what I do,be safe is all that matters, please close this thread any mod who's online because thinking about it it's a subject that can cause tension

I do but I live in a small place which doesn't help clouds drift. Plus can't open the windows to much because it's winter

It's cold as shit here to mate(snow level cool), priorities though, stand at the window or throw an extra layer on when you puff with a window open, the clouds have to go somewhere, it's either out the windows or drifting around the room waiting to set off the smoke detectors.

Aside, that juice vapour is going to settle eventually without some ventilation, you'll be cleaning it off something at some point, it's not smoking, but it does leave something behind.

I'm so happy to have never lived in any property (yet) that has these damned smoke alarms fitted. Never had a fire in any of the 6 properties i lived in so far, in the 44 years i've existed on this little blue planet of ours....and touch wood (knock knock!)...it'll never happen, with any luck (fires or properies with smoke alarms fitted).

My sister, on the other hand, rents a flat with them fitted, to comply with fire safety regs.....& she's smoker (her landlord doesn't know apparently...she's careful!)...but they do go off all the blerdy time, even if the windoes are open...they're just tooo sensitive it seems. So, like some on here have suggested...she puts cap covers over them, when she's in...and takes them off again when she's going out.
