So, who voted what?

I'm sorry - not even protection of vaping could ever compel me to vote Tory or UKIP in May - I need ecig supporters with political leanings I can live with to stand for election.

You vote is between you and your chosen deity.

What you tell the candidates is a different thing entirely. Nothing motivates prospective candidates liek the thought of losing or gaining votes.

I'm writing to every last MEP that voted for art 18 to ask them why and to point them to 'Nicotine & Health' - (and the ones that voted against it to thank them)

Oh, I intend to make it very clear to them all that vapers and their families WILL use the events of today to inform their decisions in May. Problem is, this tactic had more power BEFORE they threw the vapers' votes down the toilet

it's the EU MEPs that have done that - it's the UK MPs that have to do the implementation of the law.

It's the UK MPs I plan on telling in no uncertain terms that their policy on vaping law is the single biggest factor in my vote come the 2015 General Election.

I shall be making an appointment with my mp's office and going down for a talk next week everybody should do the same barrack them with it let them know we cannot and will not be ignored and we will not be forced back to smoking.

I couldn't vote Tory either or ukip they're just a bunch of kid ons anyway but no I can't forget what the Tories did to British industry in Thatcher times

I grew up under the shadow of thatcherism - I would NEVER give my vote to the right.
I'm just deeply disappointed that Labour, who should lead the way in protecting the interests of the most deprived (who are more likely to smoke) could miss such an opportunity to protect the availability of viable alternatives to smoking.
Are they going to support the restriction of low fat food while they're at it?
How about free happy meals to children from families on low income?

I am another, typical Labour voter but the way in which they seem to not actually give a shit about the working classes these days appals me. I would not vote Tory but know I have no faith in Labour these days either (for other policies too - plus Milliband is a soundbite muppet)
