Sparks!!!!

Hi guys my OH has a KW-X6 mod she got from FT, yes cheap but she likes the look.
Now just got some new batts from torchy so I know the batts are good, but when I put them in & went to tight'n the bottom cap it sparked & got really hot!!!
Is the mod fuked? Maybe a short idk any ideas why it happen'd!

i had this with my nem it was a hard short in the atty - did it just suddenly spark then the button got hot?

your battery should be fine as long as it was only momentary

It sparked & the bottom cap got hot. Their wat no atty attached. I just put the batt in & continued 2 screw the cap on when it happened.

It was only 4 a split sec, I pulled the cap away as soon as it sparked! Cap got hot real quick
