Squonk in need of TLC

Hi Apes

I recently purchased a TB mods DNA 40 squonker from the classies on here.

I'm really enjoying it however, it has a couple of annoying quirks!

When i remove my atty the pin underneath spins which loosens the bolt that connects to a part dna 40 board which reads the ohms for temp limiting etc (may have this bit wrong) this causes obvious problems.ie twisting the squonk bottle tubing and the dna 40 jumping into temp mode. Easily sorted by tightening up with pliers but was hoping i could do a more permanent fix. This is my first squonk box so maybe they are all like this?

Secondly i have a rough time putting my 18650 in/out of the mod and can already see the wraps are starting to get mangled. Can i shorten the spring slightly for ease of fit?

I may be better off sending it to a mod maker/repairer rather than me bodging it but any help would be appreciated.

Hey Phil, can you show us some pics of internals/510? If I know which 510 is on there I might be able to give you some pointers, and also some pics of the battery bay
A bit of tape round the batteries to make a bit of a tab can make removal much easier

Thanks for the response. Think i might have sorted the 510 issue. I managed to find a way of getting the bolt a bit tighter and realised that when i have previously adjusted it to try a different atty i have loosened the bolt.So now just need to be mindful of that
A bit a tape sounds good.
