Squonking with FlatWire

Tried it in a rda. Prepared it as suggested but results still not great. Flavour ok but can't put any serious wattage through it without tasting burnt
Nichrome does not need serious wattage. It ramps up to temperature a lot quicker than Kanthal. It sounds like you are burning your cotton by putting too much wattage through it.

This thread is about squonking at lower wattages to conserve battery life. That is what flat nichrome is good for. It is great for using on mechs.

Got dual 3mm coils 0.18 total in a Drop on the Gbox at 60 watts. Flavour is ok and no burning but will burn if turn up much more

Ok so been messing around with the 23agw BroChrome from Stealth Vape.

I am finding it quite fiddly to wrap but loving the results. Getting good flavour and clouds at only 35w. This is on the Dead Rabbit SQ (which I found to be quite a poor RDA up until this point)

Thanks for all the advice guys

The RDA is not that poor but needs a lot of tweaking to get the best from it......coil size and height , airflow etc.
I use the Dead Rabbit 24mm dual coil with 2 Brochrome coils 3.5mm ID , 6 wraps and I get 0.38ohm. With The Merge - Transmission at 53W is just incomparable with everything I tried before.

I use dual coil 3.5ID , 0.38ohm at maximum 55W , if I go higher I get the burn taste.
What i've learned about brochrome is that the difference between maximum wattage for best flavour and burn taste wattage is very small 2-5W due the fast and high ramp up.
For me the brochrome is the winner

i use V2A 0.8x0.2mm (AWG25) in the VV Pulse 22, works very good imho, zero waiting + easy wicking

edit: tc works as well (dna 75)
