I still have a soft spot for my little aga-a, it's a great little gennie. I use stealthvapes 400 mesh and it handles everything well. The way I do it is to make a coil and fix it in place, fire it a few times to set it. Then roll the wick and thread it through the coil. Then just pulse the button. It can take a little while to oxidise but you know when it is done as it will glow evenly with no hotspots. I found this method works much better than preoxidising the wick as it seems to sort the hotspots out as it goes.

Thanks for the advise on this folks. The mesh arrived & well, basically i got the device vaping first time. The wick is loose in the coil (Micro) but not bad for a first time & yes, it needs tipping every 3 or 4 toots, dunno if that's normal or not but hey ho ! I tucked a bit of cotton wool behind the coil for good measure.

I've seen a guy make a micro coil in a dripper, single coil & then put a short length of mesh in the coil & just pack cotton around the drip well. I can't make sense of that but it's good to have different materials around to try stuff out.

It could be a mean little atty & i've drilled the air hole out to 2mm, a 1.25ohm micro coil for now, could be better a bit hotter though. I just wish the o rings would hold the cap on, tried some bigger ones but they're too big, might have to get some ptfe under 'em.

Aye seen that vid too I think, this one got my attention to try micros but with rope in the mix havent yet but I just think the video is cool regarless how sad is that, I am ill thats my excuse for liking video based on the cool factor, check to see if 35mm will go in withouth touching the base as there a tard to cut and even more of a tard to cut once there already short n shoot me a pm with addy will post two pre-cut to try like I say wont be tomorrow bud.
