Starter Kit Help For Nic Salts

Hi

Ive successfully quit smoking using salts and the original caliburn with no issues

The Aspire Favostix is a fab kit, on offer atm at Uk aspire Vendor, grab some 1.0 pods. East kit, 1000mah battery.

Salts there are so many, start with 20mg, i did but quickly moved down to 10mg.

Juice brands that are like are

Juice head
Dr vapes
Manabush (but the 30ml shortfill with nic salt shot)
Prime vapes MTL collection

There are so many salt brands out there, as long as you but from a reputable company u will be fine. Uk aspire vendor also sell nic salt juices.

Personally thats what i would do. U want a no fuss easy but good quality kit then the Favostix is that, been using it since they released it over a year ago and hasn't let me down.

Sorry for the quick message, im just a bit busy right now but didnt want to ignore the help request

Hello People,

And please don't overload me with too much information and tech stuff as I can get easily confused!

I am an extremely heavy smoker (110g of rolling tobacco a week) and I am determined to do something about it after a miserably failed experience many years ago.

I forget the kit, including wattage, coil ohms etc, but I was using 18mg standard (freebase?) liquid. However, having looked at this again these years later it looks as though nic salts MIGHT be the answer. This is where I am confused on the right kit to choose.

From all that I have read you need a high resistance coil (1 ohm minimum but higher probably better for salts) and a low wattage, 10W min, 15W max and if above it seems to be pretty much forget it.

Here in the UK at least, the Uwell Caliburn G2 seems to be a fairly top choice amongst reviews for salts BUT it's rated at 18W. This is where I am totally confused.

I am only interested in a starter kit and not a box full of mods. Liquids are an entirely different topic but I need to get my kit as right has I can.

Thanks guys and any input welcomed.
I know how you feel, I’m back after many years (yeah I lapsed) and every thing is so different x I gone by what my daughter has a £10 pod system x

Salts helped me stop and like already said because they suit one person doesn't mean they suit another, i would do as @zouzounaki says, buy a 10ml of each and see how you go, when i first quit i was chain vaping Salts until i felt that sick and dizzy experience, it's not nice. You don't seem to get that with Freebase or i didn't, i am now on 12mg MTL and 6mg DTL and i seem to be heading more to MTL Vaping every day.

Thanks everyone replies - greatly appreciated!!

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I don't want a closed pod, it must be refillable with changeable coils.

Initially the XROS suggestions looked ideal until I found that the coils are sealed and can't be replaced which is another no go.

I had perhaps been leaning towards the G2 until I have since found the leaking issues so I guess back to the drawing board for a while longer.

Thanks again guys, appreciate it all.

Aspire Flexus Q? It’s what my wife @LDotKDot uses, replaceable coil and not leaked once yet.

last pod sysyem i bought (actually 4) was the vaporesso PM80 and then PM80SE

pm80 built in battery looks like this one has been discontinues
pm80SE requires 1 18650 battery https://vapoholic.co.uk/eliquid/vaporesso-target-pm80-kit/
will come with 2ml pods so you will need to buy seperate 4ml pods and 1 or 2 18650 batteries

Double post @MrDJ , I have the Vaporesso PM80 and have to say i was shocked at how good it was, there are loads good Pod Systems out there so pretty sure you will find something.

Can confirm no leaking. It’s been in my pocket, bag and chucked on the passenger seat in the car and zero leaking. Flavour is spot on and it fully charges in ten minutes.

It looks at though I will be "reluctantly" heading for the Flexus Q.

I say reluctantly because I do not like fast charging as it is not good for batteries and I also don't like the rubber bung set up for the refill. Otherwise for me it truly looks a GREAT piece of kit for around £20.

I was really leaning towards the G2 but for the reported leakage issues: at best it appears it's "messy", at worse it just leaks.
Researched opinion on this seems to be caused by the air flow wheel. Having viewed this on various videos it is very flimsy and basic to say the least.

I am not rich which is why I am trying to get things as right has I can. Anyway, looking at nic salts next but that's another story!!

Thanks very much to you guys for all your input, much appreciated I assure you.

Good Luck with whatever you choose, it can be hard for experienced vapers to get good gear with so many different opinions about stuff. The paid reviewers are obviously going to say somethings good even though it isn't. The Reviewers on POTV are good and pretty good when it comes to things they like and things they don't but at the end of the day it's up to you to decide. It does become easier though.
