So I'm awaiting delivery of a Cool Fire IV + and i've ordered an Isub tank, not realising that It will only fit 0.5 coils.
So if I were somewhere where I wouldn't want to be blowing clouds (in shops, resteraunts etc.) I could use my Evod mega with a 1.2 coil and 50/50mix and not worry, as if I were to hold it in for a few seconds the cloud would be really low.

Now could I just run the 0.5 coil at a lower power, so as to reduce clouds, and also restrict airflow? Would this work?

Or is it easier to just use the evod mega 1.2 tank on top of the cool fire instead?

The lowest voltage output on the coolfire 4 is 3 volts apparently.. so with a 0.5 ohm coil that'll be 18 watts..

1.2 ohm coils and 3 volts that'll give you 7.5 watts..

Try the 0.5 ohm and decide whether 18 watts is low enough.

I thought the isub apex came with a 2ohm option they work on the isub tank ??

Yeh, you can get 2.0 ohm iSub coils, or alternatively you can grab the rebuildable deck and wrap whatever resistance you like.

@lambo16 This is my cool fire iv + isub. 0.5 coil, small air flow, 10w, 75vg. Not too much cloud. Hope this gives you a good idea.
