Stealthvape 5mm monster wick

Firstly the views expressed here are mine and mine alone, they are totally unbiased and are totally independant of the planet of the vapes.
Yesterday I ordered some 2mm silica from the lovely Rob stealthvape. Super service as always and a padded envelope dropped through my door this morning. Odd, I thought, as 2 packs of wick don't normally come in a big envelope. So I opened it up and ou popped a glow in the dark driptip, a pack of 4mm silica and a pack of 5 mm silica. I can't describe how ridiculously huge the 5mm is, everytime I looked at it I had to laugh. Seriously wtf was I going to do with it? I don't have a dripper anymore so I scratched my head for a while. Then I thought sod it-kayfun lite with a monster wick, what's the worst that could happen

3 wraps of .2 kanthal came out at 1.6 which was pretty spot on. It was a little fiddly to fold the ends in as it is quite stuff (ooh matron!) but the build went better than I thought. I was beginning to think maybe it wasn't as daft an idea after all!

all out together and filled with some yummy DV sasperella and had a first puff. Bearing in mind it was a fresh wick, the flavour was intense. Now the kfl is know for it's cracking flavour but this has taken it up a notch, and the vapour production...

OMG! I am really impressed! It ain't going to be one for folks who like a sneaky discreet vape but for us flavour whores this is well worth checking out. Just be aware that if you don't have much working space then this might not be for you.

The wick is settling in nicely now, no dry hits and clouds of flavoursome vapour. I keep getting funny looks from my OH cos he's trying to watch telly and it's abit hard to see through the clouds, lol!
i have to say I adore Rob @stealthvape. We are so lucky in the vaping game to have so many great vendors but Rob really goes the extra mile to push the boundaries and is always looking for brand new innovations to improve our vaping quality. It doesn't always work (titanium I'm looking at you!!!) but without folks like Rob thinking outside the box we'd still be making trips down the fish shop for fluval! I also love that he really listens to his customers. I say all this as a vaper and a customer and it is not an official view from the planet.

What a wonderful review, thanks Purplefowler I actually read it yesterday but wasn't in the condition to post as I'd been out the night before for the first time in about 2 years and had a serious case of 24 hour man-flu as a result hehe.

Really glad you like it, and am hoping to see some new attys designed for these new wicks as they are a bit girthy for anything other than a dripper. Really pleased to know it's good for the kfl

It doesn't always work (titanium I'm looking at you!!!)

I got offered some titanium mesh the other day, costs a fortune and for a moment I was 'Yeah get loads of it it'll be amazing..... oh yeah'

It would burn down through your atty like a fuse, and if you're using a titanium atty like the UKVA probably ignite that too. Not to mention what would happen when it got to the battery, can you imagine hehe
