Geekvape Legend perfect fit, dual fused staggered Clapton 6 wraps 3mm, cotton bacon prime never leaked only dry hit I get is when I forget to open the juice flow
I love how you must've been like "Pfft, 12mL capacity is for plebes. Gimme moar! MOAR!". It's ridiculous with the extension chimney and the bubble glass. How much liquid is that now? 18mL?

Anyway, it fits kinda fine on my mods. I mean, doesn't look terribly good, it overhangs a bit, but it's not an eyesore either. I'm happy with it for now, but cool to see that it fits fine on the Legend.

As for the build, I tried it initially with some 3mm 4x28g quad core fused claptons (I think) and it was fine just fine, but then I decided to go a bit nuts and built a couple of 3.5mm 5 wrap Aliens and I think I like it better that way. I have yet to try beefed up coils with 26g wire in them, but I guess it'll be fine. Still, yeah, wicks like a dream if you know how to build in SC tanks. Now I'm curious to try it with the mesh deck, just for the lols. My only complaint is that they should've made other chimney pieces too. Like, maybe a narrower one or a shorter one or something. With the size of this thing you could do so much. But it is what it is and I like it, so I can't complain.

Yeah that glass is 18ml, when I clean it I switch to 14ml, I have the mesh deck the flavour is amazing on it then with no warning the cotton drops and you breath fire and that's it done, there are tips to put the cotton in then undo one side and press it tighter, I always press and crush the mesh, I have had giant aliens in it and now I'm tempted to try a 5mm single coil with them

Lol, the thing is already ridiculous, how do you cope with it being even taller with the extended chimney? If I could get a shorter one I'd probably get it and sacrifice some capacity so that I can make it a bit smaller.

Mesh on these attys is tricky, true. For the longest time I hated the mesh setup on my Supreme v3 for the same reason. Not only is it very hard to get the wicking right, but also sometimes when it was working, the cotton would decide that it wants to collapse and boom, satan's anus flavor. However, these tips you mentioned are the only way I have managed to get it right, and when it works, the flavor is beautiful. On the Supreme it's more of an issue, as I don't like single coils that much and its deck is small for most dual coil builds, so a mesh is the happy in-between, but on the Plus I want to try it only out of pure curiosity. Anyway, tip time. Secure your mesh strip on both sides, pull the cotton through (if you can pull it without compressing it manually, it's too little cotton and it will collapse on you, it needs to be too much), undo one side of the mesh, decompress the cotton or move it slightly, then gently push the mesh strip into the cotton, pushing gradually from the screwed in side towards the other so that it hugs the cotton. If there is not enough cotton supporting it, you will deform the strip in some way and it'll be useless. So that's it, basically, use the cotton as a "suspension" for pressing down the mesh, and it'll work. Take your time, be gentle at first and build force up gradually.

Yep, I haven't been successful building with mesh in the supreme v3 and my impression is that the reason is the lack of a way to really tighten the mesh - no spring or way to pull the mesh really tight, so you need to cram cotton with the fear of deforming the mesh as you said. Any kink on the mesh is an invitation for a hotspot at a bad moment - say you're out of the house and get a damn hotspot which can't be fixed.

However building the supreme v3 with dual coils, despite the relatively small deck, did open up the attie where I believe it works as intended, much better flavour and airflow than with the single coil deck in my experience.
