Almost all bad nic stories I read on here are vg nic.
With current trends many people are storing vg nic.
Time will tell.

I agree - I don't buy PG - just rely on the amount in my Nic and Flavours - usually get's between 70-80% VG

I'm using belgian beer bottles. Purged with CO2. Then sealed with an Oxygen scavenging bottle cap (I'm a brewer)

I'm about to buy bottle/zip bags to store them in now. My preference is plastic so avoid accidentally breaking one. Is plastic ok? I know glass if better but will plastic be ok considering most of the nic i've bought in the past comes in plastic bottles?

Your enemies are light, oxygen and heat - people prefer amber glass to cut down on light - but if you have them in the freezer to counteract heat, then that's pretty dark already. Most plastics are permeable, to a lesser or greater extent, to oxygen so that why glass is preferred. You can buy PET bottles, which are less permeable - home brewers use them - buy they just buy you time, the air will get in eventually. If you have a chest freezer you could keep a blanket of CO2 or Argon over them I suppose...just thinking out loud though - haven't tried it...

If the intention is to store it long term then glass is best, plastic is ever so slightly oxygen permeable. From another beer maker.
