Hi all,

Well my first of doubtless many questions & a bit random...I want to be able to lock away liquids and store them in an organised way- any suggestions?

Thanks all x

Fishing tackle boxes are quite handy, and the larger ones usually have a hole to put a padlock.

This type of storage comes into its own when you get into mixing and recoiling, as they have lots of compartments for all the bits, bobs and associated tools, large spaces for the bigger bottles and ever-increasing supplies and everything can be stored upright

I would check ebay for storage boxes, tool boxes, fishing tackle boxes. There are some good deals on ebay.

Tackle box, lunch bag, bead organizer, lipstick display case, or make your own out of wood

I use a big cosmetics case I got from Amazon- it's got a lock on it and came with two keys- not that mine is locked as I don't have small people in the house (they're banned!!) but it's good to know I could lock it up- will come in handy when the cats develop opposable thumbs!! ;)

I love these from Ikea to store my soap fragrance oils. I don't need the vent, but I like the fact that it is air tight and made from pretty good plastic that doesn't melt easily. It isn't lockable though. They do a flatter one, for the smaller bottles (my soap fragrance oils come in 50-100ml bottles)

Great thanks for the suggestions guys- off to amazon to peruse....Lol Liath "opposable thumbs" just reminds me of a friends episode :D

Liath one of my cats had extra "fingers" "thumbs" & "toes" she could use the thumbs like we can and it was so freaky watching her play with my pens and moving the thumb/extra fingers. Sadly had to have the thumbs and extra fingers removed a few years back as the fingers were fusing together and the thumbs coiling back into her hand. However, the extra toes have remained ;)
