Sub Ohming / Cloud vaping Rant rant rant !!!

Unless I'm the one making them. I was going to see what all the fuss was about with this thread, but then I remembered the average human lifespan, and it's relation to me.
Thanks, @JustDave!
Here's a happy memory, not involving Pharrell Williams:

Here's one that only partly involves Pharrell Williams, and has a pretty girl dancing.

I know her, strange woman, really digs morbidly obese tracksuit wearing chavs encased in fog in lidls.

At the bar I don't tend to bother unless it's a group of us together having a few and a laugh and it's always done in a bar that knows about the kind of stuff we are capable of creating from the get go. It's not like they are expecting a cigalite wisp when we let them know there's gonna be a few/group of us vaping. Ironically they do ban red/orange led cigalites.

Winding mates up by making their pint smell of cinnamon or cream is.still funny 4 years In as is fogging the front of their screen out so they can't see when we are playing CS.Source on a lan.

"the kind of stuff we are capable of creating" is the kind of thing I take issue with in public. There's a pride in that statement, more power, more clouds, filling a room etc.

Whilst there's nothing wrong with this in the right situation (if that's what you're into) doing it in a public space filled with people whose only knowledge about vaping is a what they read in the mail/guardian/mirror is only going to cause animosity. People are extremely wary of vaping and the road to acceptance is long and winding. Some people are scared of vaping, they are worried that it might harm them, they don't want to be breathing lung fulls of cherry vanilla. To them it represents a threat.

What is more concerning for me is that all this is underpinned by a 'fuck you, I'll do what I like' sentiment. I wasn't alive in the 40s/50s/60s but people seemed more polite and considerate. That is one part of society that I think is screwed, we've been told for years that 'we're worth it', that it's all about us. It's a selfie culture, look at me, I'm important, what you want doesn't matter and I just don't think it's a cool way to be.

You might think you look hench throwing clouds in the local but you're the equivalent of a boy racer blasting out happy hardcore doing hand brake turns and wheel spins in Asda's carpark to the uninitiated.

Btw, I get cloud chasing, I understand what it's all about but it's only going to hinder the cause in the public's eyes. I just wish people had enough compassion and empathy to see that. Save the cloud chasing for meets n mates, in public be cool, that's all I'm saying.

As always, this post isn't solely directed at you but it raised an issue I wanted to talk about.

Just to confirm, and before I post anything untoward, can I take it that this thread has become exempt from any kind of derogatory remarks about folks that are not here to defend themselves, for example, the grossly socially inadequate section of the community that live in an isolated world surrounded by empty 2 litre Irn Brew Bottles, pringles tubes, and 'styrene fast food containers, with an iphone in one hand, whilst typing, with the other hand, on a sticky keyboard clogged with spittle and personal body hair?
Oh fekk! sorry, I have already posted an untoward thing.

This thread is ridiculous. I can sympathise with the situation described by the op but at the same time it doesn't mean that they or anyone else wouldn't have gotten away with it in another pub in a different situation. If it's a regular pub and everyone is in on it and cool with it why not, it's about using common sense which obviously these people didn't do, nothing to do with cloud chasers or not.

Same with Vaping anywhere else that people perceive as a place not to Vape. Yes you should be able to make it round the supermarket without a Vape but if your in an empty aisle and have a sly toke to help you for what ever reason and nobody knows what harm has been done? Do the same standing in the queue surrounded by people would it matter if it's a cigalike, an ego, an rba or a subohm cloud chasing rig? I think not.

Some of the opinions and mind sets thrown around in this thread from both sides astound me. I'm sure it would be difficult for some of these people to find their way out of a pub, cloud filled or not, their heads being so far up their own arses must obscure their view. In a way threads like this are a great help, makes it very easy to decide who is worth listening to and who likes to blow smoke so to speak.

There are at least three of us here that seem to be of a like mind about having respect and consideration for other people, back in the old days they used to call them 'Gentlemen'. The aim of which was to be pleasant to everybody and generally be good company, and the sort of person people want to be around. You could still be rebellious and fun, and yet aspire to being pleasant.

I have to wonder if this is a generational thing? I am in my 40s, but this thread has certainly made me feel old.
