Its was either coming out of the airhole or tasting burnt and harsh,so no good for me.
Since I got my russian its flawless!!!
Not flooded once or dry hits

That is strange,I no expert so cant help tbh but how close to the air hole did u have coil as u need to lift it a few mm so can breath

With silica maybe, but cotton is a bitch to get the right amount in there.
Ps. I dont use silica

I use the gt almost exclusively with cotton and it's flawless to build on. Coton with and then the same amount on top as a flavour Wick which also blocks the top section of the chamber.

Just the same as you would on a kayfun mate and they work fine,
And that doesn't affect flooding

I just couldn't get the thing to play along, tried silica 3x2mm pieces dry hits, 2x2mm pieces flooding, tried 1x3mm piece flooded, 1x3mm with 1x2mm on top and got flooding. Also tried 6 different builds with cotton microcoils various resistances and various different amount of cotton from barely any to loads and all in between and just never felt right. The draw was too tight also. A couple of those setups worked for a while but eventually had issues, when it worked it was ok but again the draw was too tight.

For me far too much hassle to get right, and for me a good rba will supply whatever I put in there with the right amount of juice (like the kayfun) rather than rely on me to get the wicking perfect to supply the perfect amount.
