Vaping is like anything everybody is different and what works for one person just doesn't for another, that's the beauty of how far vaping has come along sines the early days, there is just so many options right now that everyone can tailor the experience to suit them. And it's still in its infancy really much more amazing revolutions will come out in the coming months and years, this time next year people will be arguing whether the deathstar or the tardis is better ;p

Well I've been vaping it for a couple of hours now, not bad at all considering its my first build on it.

3 strands of 2mm silica. 3 wraps ish of 0.2mm kanthal, about 1.5 ohms.

No leaks/flood/gurgles, but the occasional burnt hit if I drag it too frequently.

Thats the issue I had with that build mate, I take probably 5-6 10 second drags to get my hit and it can't keep up, but if I put less wick in there it keeps up fine until it's put down for 10 minutes to which I'll return to gurgling. I'll say keep trying though obviously some people have had success with the taifun and praise it highly so there must be a very small sweet spot there somewhere :)

Was it not the taifun GT that had airhole problems causing this. The fix was to take out the airhole pin and the silicon type sleeve. On a lot of them the sleeve was ragged at the bottom. This partially blocked the airhole. Cut the sleeve to even it up replace sleeve and airhole pin. Worked wonders. Bobs your uncle and Jim's your aunty. If I have this wrong I am open to all types of sexual abuse.

It was, but the air tube on this one is fine. If it doesn't leak overnight I'll be well happy with it, I'll soon get used to leaving a few more seconds between drags.

Hmmm, still no leak/flood issues, but the dry hits seem to be getting more frequent. Might rewick/recoil it tonight anyway.
