Merry Christmas all

I've just received the TCX expromizer and having issues with wicking.

I've been using the profile M for the last 6 months but on to the second one as the rubber filling port is breaks. Other than that it has been really good.

Received the TCX yesterday and wicked it using the supplied cotton as well as my usual cotton bacon but it just doesnt seem to be sucking up juice well. Within a few drags the cotton is drying out. If I leave it for a few hours it will eventually soak up again but is a pain to be honest. Has anyone any tips on how I can get it to soak up faster or is this a downfall of the steel rod system?

Cheers

Don't know the tank myself but I know that @LordOdin has a couple of these and loves them so maybe he can help?

Thanks guys

Yeah I must admit I did touch the wires with my bare hands and didnt clean the tank or wires at all. Would this make a difference?

Thanks @pdg

If I turn the tank upside down and can see the cotton suturating so it must be the steel rods not wicking properly. I will give them a clean later. I read boiling them in water can help but can also try vodka

Cheers

Been useing one for a few weeks and had no problems except for filling and takeing it apart, It's a nice smoothe vape! I vape my mesh atty's at low watts around 35w and use 65/35 vg/pg and Firebolt cotton, I have tried it at 50-60W and no big dry hit but an unpleasant burnt cotton taste, where my recently aquired Kylin M Pro I can turn up to 60W no problem. What power are you using it at?

Thanks @archiecat

I'm using the supplied mesh which is supposed to be 2.0 Ohms but comes out at more like 2.5 Ohms. Vaping it around 45w. I used to set the profile M around 40w on a lower Ohm coil and got much better favour though.

Just tried chain vaping mine at 45w, cough cough, and it's fine, took the top off and the cotton is soaking wet,,,,Hmmmm I'm using the mesh that came with it also 0.28Ohms my other mesh atty's are around 0.20 though thats not anything to do with your wicking problem I guess. when I wick mine I only thin out the cotton a little and cut it a little long so that I'm sure it's making end to end contact with the wire.
Intresting to see if cleaning the wire helps, can't think off anything else.
It's worth persevering with once you get it right it's a good vape.
