What's new

Tester wanted for: SERIES B DNA 75 (new sandstorm 25mm version)

Ok...so my initial thoughts..
Love the rose gold colour. The only drawback being ive got nothing to match it with [emoji29]
Boy is it solidly built. And it looks weighty and expensive.
The JacVapour logo and model details on the device, I wonder if they will fade out after a lot of use. The font used is nice.
The magnets are really strong and there is no give or movement.
Love the fact that it can be charged standing up. All mods should be like this.
For me, the highlight has been the main firing button. Feel like I've got thumb on a nuclear device. Kim Jong would be happy to have this in his arsenal [emoji3]
Those are my thoughts after the first 5 mins.
Going to charge it up and use it for a day and then I'll share more thoughts.

Starting to get a tiny bit of atty rash on mine. Which is unfortunate as I’ve basically only taken the kayfun off of it a couple of times to clean and rewick.

No sign of any on mine, but I've been using the Zeus which has a perfectly flat base... might put one of my atty gaskets on though now to stave off the possibility of it happening to mine.

Finally managed to pick mine up. Happy happy joy joy :yahoo:

Time for a hand check.

I'm on my way to work.

Dark dj booth usually my mods gets a bit of a knocking about.

I'll see how it holds up!

For comparison the alien and 200w I stick came home nearly half stripped of paint in one night!!

Alien paint just fell off after a few bumps [emoji23]

I stick fell, dented and battery door stopped holding batteries in [emoji34][emoji35]

Have a feeling this wee beauty will hold up to the test.

I have to say after more than 24 hours use I am genuinely loving this mod
I amnot just gushing because I think I should as part of a testing panel or to gain any sort of favour with the company
I am struggling anything to find that can be listed as negative about it and am genuinely blown away with just how good a single 18650 mod can be when produced at this sort of standard

It fits so comfortably in the hand it's a nice weight the quality of the product is impressive it's fire button is almost instant, the action on the buttons is soft and clicky and doesn't feel cheap the battery life is impressive I used it pretty much constantly yesterday for close to 6 hours before I had to change it and I reckon if it was a work day and I was using it with breaks in between at 40 watts it would last me all day
It is slim and sleek and my worry was it would be a little unstable with a tank on top due to its slim body but that base width at the bottom doesn't look much but gives it the stability required

Really enjoying everything about it and I can genuinely say I haven't picked up any other mod since it arrived

Well done again @JAC Vapour on another very impressive bit of kit so many mod manufacturers could take note here on how to produce a simple product that performs on many levels without shouting about it

Feel exactly the same the more I use it the more comfortable it becomes, easy to use even with gloves on. I’m happy to say even battery life seems better then my pico, or AL85 with the same batteries.

Anyone using TC yet? Been trying with a 0.6ish ohm SS316L stock coil - which works perfectly on my eVic mini - and preset 3 with no joy at all, it just jumps from my set temp (210C) to OFF on the screen and fires in power mode.

I've adjusted the watts - after a bit of googling to find out how to do it! - in temp mode from my usual 27w up to 60w with no difference. It returns to showing the set temperature once I stop firing.

I've not connected it to eScribe yet, is that my only recourse?

Sorry to tag you @Tubbyengineer, any tricks I'm missing?

It sounds like you need to connect it to escribe and load tubbys temp settings on there so the board knows what wire you are using, coz out the box it doesn't have and temp settings on it

I have only used mine in wattage mode so far and not ventured into tc mode
The closest thing I have to this mod is the IPV D2 and I sat earlier with both and I would say by a fraction this mod fires quicker however the battery life on the DNA 75 beats the IPV
