PsAh it's not just me then
I've not tried tc before,so I made some as coils .5, watts at 50 temp at 460 ....meh! an insipid
Vape. Upped the temp to 560
And no better. very cold and lacking anything.
I was using as sxk hadaly and bunkr fruit creme
Thanks for the help @Benjamin Bailey and @red5, looks like I'll have to dig my 'puter out to load Tubby's files and get eScribe up n running...I wonder where it is? Haven't used it in over a year! [emoji38]
If it's not in the correct Material setting then it will need to be changed - as if it doesn't see the correct resistance change you'll get exactly the behaviour described. Make sure the Temperature or power is locked (depends on which is dominant - whichever one is in big numbers) then double click either up or down - this will get you into the Profile selections, use up or down to scroll through to the SS316 profile - there should be on OOB, then press fire to select - make sure the atty is cold when you first fire it so that you get the right resistance set too.Anyone using TC yet? Been trying with a 0.6ish ohm SS316L stock coil - which works perfectly on my eVic mini - and preset 3 with no joy at all, it just jumps from my set temp (210C) to OFF on the screen and fires in power mode.
I've adjusted the watts - after a bit of googling to find out how to do it! - in temp mode from my usual 27w up to 60w with no difference. It returns to showing the set temperature once I stop firing.
I've not connected it to eScribe yet, is that my only recourse?
Sorry to tag you @Tubbyengineer, any tricks I'm missing?
Too much wick - Less cotton should sort it, you need only a slight resistance to the cotton as it pulls through the coil...Ah it's not just me then
