What you're saying makes sense but you need to factor in stupidity. Local news up here has reported that a returning holidaymaker didn't do the 2 week isolation on return but went on a pub crawl instead. This has lead to more people being infected due to him being infected.... or do we think people that are testing positive are just carrying on and not isolating? .... if they are doing that then testing won't make any difference... but if not then finding people who test positive is a good thing because it stops them spreading it, so the more positive tests results the better... no? or am I being really dumb?
But they've struggled to do 21M tests over 6 months ............. to do nearly 68M in a week!
Wouldn't be possible just now. Need a strictly enforced lockdown for a few months where you only get out once you've got your papers. We can just close everything for a bit.Or when we were in lockdown and pretty much isolated anyway? ... do it over a week?

Not without their papers, we need wardens on patrol.people will still be going out, to get bog roll, flour, stuff like that.
Need to get them all tested first.Get the army out on the streets, that’d wake the thick fuckers up a bit
