There’s a good reason Vapor-Z are among the frontrunners in the UK Vapers Forum 2014 award polls for Best UK Based Vendor.

Owned by a lovely couple, Rianne and Tan Abul who are so passionate about vaping, they have dedicated their entire lives to it.

When I say passionate, I mean they live and breathe vaping. Vaping isn’t just a business to them, a way to profit from an exponentially growing sector – it’s an entire lifestyle to them. Rianne and Tan are totally committed to the community too, so if they aren’t workig in the shop they are giving good, sound advice to to others in the community on the myriad of Facebook vaping groups.

So, very hard work. passion and great customer service has been their achieved goal, but it’s also the commitment that they show to their customers safety which makes them stand out from the crowd. Nobody will walk into a Vapor-Z shop and walk out with an ego style battery and an Aspire Atlantis subohm tank, for example. They are more likely to get an honest, but friendly education on the importance of battery and atomiser safety, prior to any sale at all.

This is what we need from our B&M stores in the UK. Real dedicated customer care from highly knowledgeable staff. It’s not a lot to ask for, but Rianne, Tan and the team at Vapor-Z seem to be leading the way and good for them. They deserve all the votes they can get in that poll.

Onto the next range of their e-liquids then. I was sent the GB Collection of e-liquids to try out, so many thanks to Rianne and Tan for sending them over. As of right now Bonnie and Clyde are the only two juices available in the range – I assume more will be added at a later date. Both e-liquids have a ratio of 55VG/45PG and came to me at a 12mg nicotine strength.

Vapor-Z say, “We decided that there are so many fantastic producers of e-liquid within the UK that we would have a collaboration of the best in one range that would be available exclusively to Vapor-Z. To start off the range the great producers at Bumblebee-e-liquid have been working alongside us to create Bonnie and Clyde. With more of the best UK manufacturers getting involved in this range this is truly a first.”

So, onto Bonnie and Clyde then. Murderous and psychopathic, or good time gangsters? Let’s vape and delve on in!

Bonnie:
Going into this review I wasn’t really looking forward to taking Bonnie for a road trip. Anise and menthol feature very lowly on my favoured flavour profiles list, but the balance and subtlety in the flavours here is a real achievement. Described as, “..a perfect blend of fresh apple, anise and a cooling blast of menthol cleverly infused with a beautiful fusion of zesty lemon and lime, this stunning flavour will make your tastebuds sing.” The menthol is the initial dominant flavour, although it doesn’t blast your face off like some menthol heavy hitters out there and adds a very pleasing cooling element. The anise comes through too, but the way it marries into the zingy lemon and lime flavours makes Bonnie so refreshing, rather than a feeling of having a mouthful of soap as could have easily happened with this e-liquid. The apple lends a delicate natural sweetness to proceedings – You’re not left with an intense apple hit – just the merest note of it dancing away in the background, again very well balanced. Vapour production and throat hit are both excellent. Bonnie won’t be an e-liquid for your serious fruit, or dessert/sweet lovers, but if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten track, which is very mature and complex in all the right ways, then give Bonnie a ride and wake up those fatigued tastebuds.
