I rediscovered vaping about a couple of months ago. My Mum and I tried a few ecigs and we couldn't get along with them. Cheap rubbish packaged up as a kit. Thanks to this site I got myself a C-Twist and V3 Cleartomiser. My Mum was so impressed she got two. I'm so pleased that I found a forum and vendors that actually care about the vaping experience. I've had some great advice from this site. Right, anyway down to brass tacks, it's the Pre-Christmas buy-a-thon. I fancy some HS menthol sensation, some Grizwald pick and mix and another C-Twist battery. But although the V3 is a nice Cleartomiser, I'm open to suggestions of Cartos that you guys like. I'm a heavy vaper somedays (essays are a strain) so I need a large capacity. Also, any suggestions of menthol juices? Mum currently uses the excellent but pricey, Liberro Eskimo juice.

Cheers anyway.

Hi Martyn and welcome to you. Great first post! Glad POTV has been a help. We have some great members here and we like to keep it a friendly helpful place to be. And congrats on the switch to Vaping :)

I'm glad we've helped :) it's always good to know that we can genuinely help others on the vaping path :D I'm not the one to offer advice on cartos as I only use rebuildables so I'm out of touch with other stuff but I'm sure you'll get loads of suggestions when everyone gets back from the pub, lol!

By V3 I assume you mean these

They are good for out and about, handy size

If you're looking for something for in the house while you work, I'd go for one of these to put on a twist (looks a bit odd for out and about while on an ego battery).

even easier to fill than the v3, uses the same replaceable heads but holds more liquid. Good proven track record.

You'll need one of these to hide the twists ego thread

If it is actual cartos you want, the best cartos, Boges, have apparently taken a dip in quality recently. So I can't really recommend any now. Maybe the Kangers...

EDIT: I haven't used any menthol in ages so can't really help there, sorry.

I'm finding myself warming to the boge even though as a rule i'm not a carto user and generally prefer a tank/clearomiser set up

I'm still using a batch of Boges I bought about six months ago. They are great but I keep reading that quality has gone down. If you know a good source could you post a link. I've been bothered about where I'll get more for a while now.

All the ones i've bought from liberty flights i've found have been fine, they sold out of SR Briefly but back in stock now

Thanks for all the replies and feedback. I like the idea of a tank, but I got one and the two holes in the XL Bogue weren't big enough or something, the burnt taste is enough to put anyone off the first time. Kinda gave up on it, although I've started replacing, cleaning and fiddling about with things now. Is nail polish remover ok for cleaning cleartomisers? A bit harsh I reckon but it works. Any ideas for juices would be appreciated, not really a baccy flavour man. To be honest the vaping experience is one I like to distance from the stinkies. It took my mum a while to get to grips with this idea but now she prefers the juice. I prefer her to vape too. It's kind of a team effort to avoid the ideology of smoking, to treat vaping as a pleasure, not as an addiction.

Good post. Actually yes, the V3 is the exact one. The supplier is the correct one too. Never had any bad stuff off them.*
