I've just noticed FLV recommend steeping for a month too, it could be a developer over time one.

That's what I was thinking.

I notice it recommends mixing with Virginia, I can see that, it's defo more in that ballpark than some of the darker ones. It doesn't taste that dirty to me but it is quite dry and leaves an ashy feel in the mouth, so I guess that's what they mean?

Classic @0.25 (i over dropped), 70/30. I think I was making a mistake, vaping 50/50 in a dripper, although I bunged commercial in a pod and it was the same. This one is sweeter (could be the extra vg), smoky, wet, some ash, mild random coffee, like sucking on a used coffee filter - well ,there is a slight paper taste. I'll name this one Fag Ash Lil. I think it might become a winner.

Begs the question as to why high street shops always make an excuse that you cant get decent baccy flavours - cheap, or at all. I've just made a decent one for sod all.

have a look at this, it’s quite interesting. her method for testing them is to start with a drop in a 30ml bottle and increase until you can taste it. let me know if you can see the document, not sure how these links work...

she doesn’t go over 0.6% with any of the tobaccos and some as low as 0.2%.

it makes sense, the idea of starting with 1 or 2 drops in 30ml and continue from there. you then experience the concentrate at each stage until you reach the point that it tastes right. when you go over the optimal concentration and notice flavour distortion and loss, then drop it back and you will have your sweet point

i’m going to dilute the arabian i mixed at 0.5, by half, and see how it works.
