Ive got some Gaart :) but thanks!

used to use them all the time till the heron came out .. then that superseded it - then on going back I had issues with them :D the heron is very forgiving :)

Oh, you must have a nice kf lite collection. You are right about heron but kf v3mini was my first rebuildable and it worked like a charm on a first try, never had problems since - it looks like they are "natural" to me... I have tried kf five pawns from The Box and also loved it. Since then I bought some kf lite/3.1 clones and I think I'm going to change my signature for an authentic kf lite/3.1...:)

Attire are like flavours I reckon some you just can’t get the hang of while other people find em easy

I agree some work for you and not others, I also think it’s a combination of how easy it is to wick and coil. For example I’ve always found Calixes a real chore to coil but once I’ve got that right a piece of piss to wick,no matter what you do.

Sirens the other way around.

The True, for me largest coil, 3 mm, any more it will touch the sides, pretty easy to do though, then the wicking......

Had a second go, after watching some (shit) YouTube links on how, so put far more in and longer, no more gurgling but I think a slightly stifled, already restricted draw, but flavour still really good.

I’ll get it right eventually!

Does remind me how good KF3s and Corolla 1.5s are though!

The curse of bloody @ZT strikes me again! :18:

I bought one of these loverlies, and I can honestly say that it is one of the nicest atties I have used. I've even installed one of the supplied Clapton coils, fallen in love, and bought £20 more.

Cheers Martyn! :2thumbsup:

The True is definitely a winner for me. It does everything well. Build quality is fine, it's easy to build on, draw is fairly tight on smallest hole, flavour is very good on various profiles, it's easy fill and you can access the deck without emptying your juice. Can't really fault it. Would recommend.

Edit. The only time it leaked was when the wick tails were too long and touched the deck. Didn't do that again.

Interesting, I had it leak on me today and had long wick tails tucked into the groove, as suggested by some ‘how to wick it’ YouTube videos, you get gurgling if they’re too short.

I put my leak down to the fact I was vaping on it just before with the fill holes open, hadn’t noticed.

Just re-wicked, again with longish wicks so I’ll see if it happens again without the open fill holes issue.

Sorry, I may have confused you. The wick tails should be cut just below the wicking channels. When it leaked they were touching the bottom of the deck/ tank

OK, pretty sure that’s what I’ve been doing and it just did it again, after re-wicking, only put a little juice in first to check, took a few vapes and no leak, bone dry, demonstrated by sticking a thin piece of tissue into the air hole.

Filled it up, took a vape, seemed fine.

Put it down and came back to it 15 minutes later and leaked again, all o rings look fine.

Give up, put the big tank on the Corolla and that is always fine. Just wanted a short tank for The Coral but Corolla with standard tank just needs filling far too often when you’re out.

Back to a Calix Nano I think.

Anyway enough rambling, fair to say I hate The True, probably some form of user error though!

Yet to try the true yet spikey. Bit hesitant now. Can't go wrong with the calix nano.
I still love the berserker and hastur mini so I'm in no hurry.
Been running the calix v3 tonight and forgot how good it is.

As I say could be user error but I have no idea why as doing exactly the same as I did for the first few days without any issue.

In any event it was a bit too tight for my very loose MTL taste.

Reminds me why I stopped chasing the next best thing, KF3 minis vape perfectly for me, with the air screw removed, it’s just they’re a bit tall, even with the Steam Tuners tip.

Nothing wrong with Calixes, very nice vape but I’ve always found them a bit of a pain to coil with those fiddly screws and spinning deck until tightened.
