In an ideal world I would agree with you.
I might expand on my utopian solution to the problem one of these days.
For now let the dangerous ideas lurk in the dark corners of the net rather than the mass platforms.

Sadly ...... I suspect that we'll agree that it's never going to be an ideal world though, is it!

I do think the whole issue is made far worse by such theories then being reported on and spread by the regular media ............ and, most egregiously, by world leaders (guess who)?

With all of the resources that the large internet companies have to track all of us for the purpose of selling us shit.
I would like to think it would be possible to have a platform that used similar technology to bring opposing views into the same space.
To help sort the good ideas from the bad ideas. The ideas supported by evidence from the ideas that came from some crazy guys fevered imagination on 8chan.
I would support a totally free speech platform if all ideas could be properly challenged and interrogated.

I do think that those with the craziest ideas want to be in an echo chamber with similar crazies.

Agreed. It's always been the same though - back to the Gunpowder Plot and further.

Problem is, few people would use it - QED on here ........ people don't much like to hear opposing views!
