Not sure, but I would say this: the groups opposing us will use anything - anything - against us. Since our case is clear and the science and the truth is on our side, they will scrape the barrel for things to take us to task for. Calls for torture and violence can be used against us. Imagine a Sky news reporter reading out some of these posts with an incredulous tone?

We're all angry and passionate about this, but would propose that we steer away from calling for illegal acts on our public forums...

I'll assume that you think I'm some sort of sadistic torturer with access to the cow named in this thread when the actual truth is,I realise she is "just doing her job" so doesn't deserve to be tortured,I haven't any transport/fellow torturers & there is absolutely nothing to stop me dreaming up various methods to change her opinion or die.Pretty much the choice she has left us,we either get her to change her opinion of e-cigs,or she kills us.

The long and short of it is that the loss of revenue from people giving up fags and using something that isn't taxed the eyeballs is causing a major issue for the powers that be.

The problem is Steffijade that they wouldn't pick someone as eloquent as you. They'd pick someone who didn't really know much about vaping & showed what they wanted to represent. Having being involved in a few grass roots campaigns recently it soon becomes obvious that the main stream media is just full of propaganda for what ever side they decide to take - facts & truth are almost irrelevant.

For "young people and non-smokers" you might as well just read "people"!

Who suggested to the MEPs that smokers have completely different flavour preferences to the rest of humanity? (and of course anyone who's replaced smoking with vaping is also a non-smoker, so they don't even want flavours that might be attractive to them)

However, a child can walk into a sweet shop and buy beer flavoured jellies!

Well I am thoroughly shafted by this legislation, I vape at 36mg and am only just able to not smoke at that level. Only 20mg will probably see me back to smoking. Looks like I need to save the pennies for stockpiling nic base...
