(This is it) TPD Regulations 2016

None hopefully. We are lucky, best to remember that and be thankful imo.

I'm not fully conversant with the TPD being a fairly recent convert to vaping but from what I've read there are some areas that aren't entirely clear and we're not entirely sure what we can get away with. I also realise that our government has gone for a less restrictive interpretation of the rules, however if everyone sticks to them no enforcement will be required. The point I was trying to make is that no one pushes the boundaries we won't know where they are. Somebody needs to be operating in the grey areas to clarify where the boundaries lie and just how loose our interpretation of the TPD is. The question is who has the cash, bollocks and inclination to challenge it.
I do know however if I was in the vaping business It wouldn't be me.

There were a few things in that transcript that gave me pause for thought:
No plans to tax vaping? I had heard there was a plan to tax it at tobacco rates..... Was that all rubbish?
Lord Prior of Brampton seemed happy to state no existing e-cigarettes would be banned. Such a shame a huge number of popular and effective vaping tanks won't escape so lightly.
20mg and higher will be available if licensed...... Maybe DIY will remain possible? But they seem oblivious to this practise anyway.
And finally, they will monitor impact and review if needed. It's a shame so many of us have freezers full of nic base as this could skew the emergence of the impact.

I feel an email to lord prior coming on.
Does anyone happen to have his email address to hand folks? ;)

Tax was an EU thing. MHRA are fully aware of DIY market and nic base.

I would let sleeping dogs lie if it were me regarding DIY.

Best to only mention specifics from the regs if writing to any politician.

In the same vein how would storing pre-mixed liquid fare in a freezer? Got a lot I've bought over the last few weeks which stored at room temp in a dark cupboard should last 1year+ unopened (?) but what effect would freezing have?

Not sure on that, I just leave mine in shoe box on table and vape as and when on my Kennedy 24m. I manage to make two favours of juice which go down a treat at work.
