Tips for using stainless wire?

The wire was 317L 24 gauge

I used the same 317L but it doesnt work with the Evic mini as the TCR is way off what the mod is set at, what coefficient did you set it too?

I'm using 316l, but I'm unable to get it to work on either the amok kooper plus or the xcube 20. It works fine on my hcigar vt200 though so I just don't think the smoks like it! I've seen a couple of you tube videos where other people have the same issue, it says its limiting the temp, but keeps firing anyway.in my case it just never seems to limit the temperature. Gave up in the end, the hcigar does it perfectly.

I've been using 28 gauge for along time and running at 14 watts.I'd like to try different for the taste but what watts would I be on with 317L?
