To Squonk or not to squonk?

Yes there's no risk of leaking with a squonkified Sapor. Will you need the special tool? You can borrow mine if you do.

It may not be necessary. I've converted my other rdas with just a screwdiver (apart from the Hastur which also required pliers because the pin wouldn't unscrew out but that's another story).

Haha, yeh with my novice ability, I think I will start with a more forgiving top airflow rda. I like my Sapor and have noticed FT selling a BF pin, so I think this may be my next purchase

you will be pleased with the dripbox 160, its a well made thing that does what it needs to. i have 2, did have 3 but mannikon bought that to go with his massive collection of them, also have the wraith and 2 hcigar vt inbox. and a lost vape drone arriving monday.....

the wraith battery life is not great, its a lovely quality thing, didn't rate the supplied dripper but much better with a £5 goon style from gearbest (coppervape brand), they do a 22mm and 24mm for about the same price.
the vt inbox is nice, battery life is better than the wraith and the supplied RDA is quite accepatable. my first use of bottom airflow and only over squonked once so far when the bottle had just been refilled so it didn't need such a hard press!!
you should generally be ok with a bottom airflow as the bottle tends to suck excess juice back down to a large extent anyways...

i think the DB 160 is about as good a starter as you can get. cheap, reasonable battery life with it being twin, well made and fairly soft bottles. you are going to LOVE squonking!!

This looks to be a pretty comprehensive bit of kit and has a nice handy picture guide to show me exactly what to do !

Seems that most of things you guys are saying about the dripbox are positive which is always reassuring! I am sure once I get used to the whole action of squonking I will be alright. For the price, dual battery and VW - ticks all my boxes
Just can't wait for it to arrive!!

Love mine when I want to blow a few watts through an rda. The stainless finish is pretty solid too. Can't be beaten for the price. You will need a pico squeeze next for day to day use.

Don't tempt me haha. I've made a promise that I wouldn't spend on vaping gear for a good while yet; although it is payday next week..

I got a Therion BF and Dripbox 160, and i prefer the dripbox due to the duel battery.

Single battery just doesnt last me at 45-50 Watts.

I want to get the drone next sa i personally prefer my DNA devices and hope to pick one up for Sub £100 at VapeExpo if i can.

I have got 4 Goon RDA's with Squonk Pins that i bought from Fasttech, and soon to be Hadaly Clone with a BF Pin.

Once i started squonking i hated RTA's as flavor is so sub par, and a pain in the ass to re wick every other day.

I solely drip or squonk these days... there's a sentence I never though i'd be typing a year ago ??

I started on the original kanger dripbox, nothing wrong with it at all after you change the rda.

For a single battery mod I know use a COV Wraith, paired with a SXK Hadaly. The Hadaly clone came from fasttech, complete with a squonk pin for just over a tenner - and its a phenomenal flavour rda.

I recently bought a Lost Vape Drone, dual battery squonker - great piece of kit but a bit more budget required. It's topped off the a Goon v3 clone from knucklehead - basically a Goon with Kennedy airflow.

Another great squonking RDA to mention is the Skywalker, just over £10 from for an authentic. Comes with a squonk pin, great little piece of kit.

Seems to be a common theme, don't think I have once seen someone say 'I tried squonking and hated it, never doing it again'.

Yeh, I plan on changing the RDA for the dripbox, potentially looking at a goon clone/tsunami which should be en-route.

Funny you mention a Skywalker, a friend recently purchased one and bangs on about how much he loves it...if it is just over a tenner, maybe a worthwhile investment
