Hey guys I have a regular sized tobh atty I bought used from my local vape shop l. I use 26 gauge kanthall and when screwed all the way down there is a good enough sized gap to make my 26 not fit. What size screw will work for this bc I'm gonna go out to lowes and see if I can find any. Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place for this and I did a search and couldn't find the size. Thanks!!

I believe Stealthvape sell screws for the Tobh and give the size.

A method I used with similar problem, if you're desperate; tie one end of a fresh piece of wire round the screw in the atty, then take out screw and build your coil (with the screw dangling while you do it).

I have been unhappy with the screws in my tobh clone, but found that they are not the same size as tobh originals. I think tobh originals might be an M2 4mm screw, but have resorted to ordering a few different sizes from this vendor to solve my issues.

items in Bolt Base store on eBay!

Stealthvape do these screws

The Screws of Destiny x3 pcs

but as they are 4mm they may not solve your issue.

Not very helpful post I know, but I thought the links might get you a step closer in your goal.

Oooooh ta Diche for that link! Did you find those screws/bolts solved your problem?

I find the screws in my Fasttech clones are of mixed quality, some don't trap the wire underneath, and one screw in my Taifun GT wouldn't even stay in the base. (I got a genuine Taifun GT screw from White Fog, and it's much better quality; bigger head, and flat on underside, looks like a mushroom.) I'd like to get some spares/replacements for my Kayfuns.

The negative posts would appear to be M2, however the positive post is larger. I think it is going to be M2.5 which is a pity as the allen key screws from that supplier use different size allen keys on those two different size screws. However at 99p and free postage I can be free to experiment and then get exactly the right ones from stealthvape rather than paying for postage several times from there and still not being sure I am ordering the right ones. Its going to give me a nice little pot of spares too :)

I recently got a set of Allen keys from Poundland, most are far too big for vape gear but the smallest may be useful (I used it on my Fasttech Origen v2).

A "little" pot of spares? Oh I don't think so. I know my pot of vape spares is big and getting bigger every week!

I am using a bit holder and screwdriver bits in my vape kit, so I have all the common sizes of allen key and I just ordered some precision screwdriver bits, it would still be a pain when recoiling to have to change bits to do up one of the screws.

I hope my vape spares pot gets bigger. One of the most annoying things I left behind in my divorce was the 'screw pot' It takes years to build up a good screw pot :(

I should have thought one of the most annoying things you left behind in your divorce was a spouse.

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I like the look of Stealthvape's Screws of Destiny, but I think a little expensive to replace all of my Fasttech screws. I will order some from that ebay site, and see how it goes.

Since leaving, that annoyance has departed, however the pain and anguish of losing the screw pot continues to this day :p lol

I have recieved one lot of the hex head type already and they seem much better quality than the fasttech screws. of course the screws of destiny have been specifically designed to be the perfect screw for vaping, but once you add the cost of postage they are blooming expensive particularly if like me odds are you would have ended up ordering twice to get the right sizes. I will probably stick with these until I need some kanthal and then spread the postage cost.
