I've vented enough on here about how I feel about the vendor and the way they dealt with selling it.

You do have to see POTVs side though, sure maybe just maybe they shouldn't have posted it on there behalf.

But you know as well as I do, the team and members here make this place, a vendor doesn't (excuse me on that vendors who contribute with the forum chats ie StealthVape, BAVapes, DannyK, PlumeBlu and anyone I missed out)

Fuck them who caused this, sure were mad. I am, ill say I thoroughly disagree but more so am pissed off with what it's done to the community.
OccultScientist, junglist, ZT etc are not directly involved with the vendor, they tried to be the in between and attempt to cool down a volatile situation.

Sadly we lost some great members because of this :-(, I really do hope they return.

PoTV didn't hold the auction, PoTV didn't advertise it, infact the only 'mistake' they made was trying to cool down the situation and give the Vendor who didn't have the decency to post there reply themselves there voice.

To be fair, amongst all of you who are giving these guys a hard time. I mean the first time I visited this forum one of the first posts I seen was someone bashing ukecigstore. If it wasnt for these guys I probably wouldn't be on this forum right now to type this out, I'd be out back of the office having a stinky.

When I got sick of cigalikes and wanted something better, these were the first guys I found and I had no clue what to buy. I had no friends to ask and forums/websites made no sense to me so I rang them up, they guided me through what I needed really helpfully and I received my order the very next day. I was then an avid customer of theres for the better part of 3 months and amassed a small collection of tanks, spinners and juice until I started to branch out on my devices and juices.

I literally cannot say a bad word about these guys, whenever I've had a problem I've been helped, whenever I've placed an order it was dispatched the same day and on my door step the next, on the one occasion an item was missing from my order, one quick phonecall and it was sorted. I really can't fault them and to be honest I've never understood why some members of this community have always bashed them. It came across to me that it was just the 'popular' thing for people to bash on here as they are one of the biggest commercial ecig stores in the uk.


I feel sorry for those who have had a bad experience, as I definitely can't say the same for myself.

Tutterz its like anything tho pal, yes I've bashed on them purely over this and what its done to POTV.

Some bash FT, I can't fault them.

Some have bashed Myepack again I cant fault them.

Some love TW, I dont ive had problems with them.

It all depends on each individuals experience with them. But thats what keeps life exciting nothing is the same for everyone

Huggett You're correct, generally we find though as consumers... If something is done well, or someones pleased with the product/purchase then you won't hear a peep out of them. If that's the opposite however, that's when people will complain and word spreads.

For example I was on the E-cig sub on Reddit yesterday where someone had posted pictures of their FT hana clone that had blew the board upon first use. The thread then followed tons of people bashing FT, yet FT has already sold so MANY of these products it seems to be ridiculously rare to happen. Yet straight away every one was on the whole 'boycott FT' band wagon.


I think these days we're too quick to jump the gun and make our informed decisions based off someones bad experiences, even if that experience was just 1 in 1000, some people will probably now flat out refuse to buy and chip device off of FT for example.
The whole ecig industry as a whole doesn't really help though, with no regulation and the markets moving as fast as they are, companies are really having no chances to make mistakes if they want to stay prominent, as the competition is just too great at the moment.

By the logic of some, we should just ignore bad ethics and not ask for an explanation or resolution because there's worse things happening elsewhere. really??

Maybe i'll buy some AW 'style' batteries from china and flog them on ebay or POTV classifieds for profit, and don't think about calling my ethics into question while there is horrible misjustice going on in the middle east.

If you think its wrong to highlight small scale bad ethics in the vape industry in attempt to stomp it out early on, don't start complaining when it ends up as dodgy as the tobacco industry with the biggest money grabbers sitting on the top

Tutterz that is very true and I won't argue with you on that.

Somethings great oh lets not mention it, its what we expect is it not? Lets not sing there praises I mean we paid for it, that should be enough right?

Well no, not really. Give them some credit, im sure it means more to them to hear some kind words a review and recommendations than just money.

Yet the second somethings wrong its let write a review which I wouldn't if it was fine, lets fire off angry messages rather than try and resolve the situation.

We should as a community write a thread on etiquette regards to dealing with problems.

Such as send an in depth email including dates, product numbers etc and politley outline the problem with images.

Allow 48 hours for a reply ect, if no reply send a follow up email. Before taking it any further
