Chargers have their output details on them - what does it say on your iPhone charger? I'm not au fait with Apple kit but USB outputs at 5 volts, so if the charger says it's a 5 watt charger then it outputs 1 amp/1000mAh, if it's 10 watt then it's 5 volt x 2000mAh = 2 amp. You want one with 5volt/1amp/5w watt output - most USB 2.0 ports output 0.5amp/500mAh, USB 3.0 can do up to 0.9amp/900mAH.I’ve found a product from totally wicked, a 1.0A usb wall plug adapter would this be a safe option rather than an old iPhone usb plug ?

Best of both worldsI got my charging plug from Sainsbury's. It has 2 USB ports, a 1 amp and a 2.4 amp.
